Are You Rushing Towards A Death Sentence?

You wake up one day and you have a new pain, an ache or weird new sensation in your body. It simply doesn’t

feel right but you decide to soldier on. Within a week you get tired, out of breath, and the pain has intensified to alarming levels. At this point you decide to go have it checked it by your doctor to better understand what it could be. It doesn’t matter the problem, in the end what matters is when your doctor tells you that you have disease a, b or c. You’re stunned! How could this happen? Haven’t you followed a low calorie diet as advised? Haven’t you eaten whole wheat grains instead of sugary cereals? Cut out fats where possible?

You suddenly realize that the advice given to you all along was terribly wrong. The next day you visit a holistic nutritionist and are told to change your diet again – dramatically. You’re told that the standard advice is only slightly better than a junk food diet. Your jaw drops. Seriously?

Imagine yourself in this scenario! Do you know right now that low calorie food is usually man made and chemically altered/refined food? Do you know that low fat is nonsense and that there are fats that heal and fats that kill; that you need saturated fats in certain amounts; that most available cooking fats are rancid? Do you know that most any food in cans and boxes are slightly less than all out poisons?

So here you have been working on hopelessly outdated, outright wrong and scientifically unsound health principles wrapped in the cloak of mainstream medicine and pushed by an aggressive pharmaceutical agenda. And why not, medicinal drugs are a trillion dollar business.

You might argue that the points above are complete nonsense, but statistics don’t lie. Eight out of ten in North America will die of a disease in their lifetime. Health care statistics are climbing towards the stratosphere in ever increasing numbers.

The important thing is that many get caught in the disease cycle and now regret not taking the time to do some basic research for themselves, read books on natural health or see a practitioner for information to save their life. When the doctor tells you that you’ve got six months to live, a proper perspective gains hold pretty quickly. Your job is suddenly less important than your long term health outlook. Funny how outlooks change with illness.

I’m going to recommend a book to my readers called “The Eat Clean Diet” by Tosca Reno, which you can get anywhere on the internet by Googling the title. I have no affiliation with her, but I do use this book as part of my nutritional counsel with clients. It simply makes sense to eat whole foods and to keep them in moderate daily amounts through smaller portions. I have successfully used this approach over the last decade to take more weight off clients than I can remember.

I’m never going to accept the excuse that people have no time. Make time because if you don’t, one day this commodity will run out on you in a painful way. Remember, you can make all the excuses you want, but in the end, they’re just that – excuses. Don’t be lazy – good health has a time stamp on it and if your time runs out, it’s too late. The choice is yours and the clock is ticking.
